Men's Indoor Hockey- Canadian National Masters vs Pakistan National Hockey Masters - Feb 2024 Pakistani Hockey Legends arrived in Toronto to participate in a 3 match series between Canadian National Masters and Pakistan National Hockey Masters including Shahbaz Junior and Shahbaz Senior and other past Olympians and World Champions of the Pakistan team . February 2 to 4, 2024 in Scarborough and Brampton. Dec. 16-17, 2023 - Masters teams: Titans, Ottawa, Alberta , Pakistani Canadian Hockey Club and Ross Rossary Club World Masters Hockey Announces Indoor World Cup 2024 2024 Indoor World Cup for women and men ages O35 – O65 will take place at the University of Nottingham, England, from March 28 – April 1, 2024. Canada will be participating: Teams entered: Men- O45, O55 Women- O50, O55 Final Update: with the withdrawal of players due to unforeseen circumstances, the age groups and number of teams have been revised and finalized: Men- O45 Women- O45 Teams entered 2024 WMH World Cup New Zealand and South Africa will co-host this event. Auckland, New Zealand : host for Masters O45/O50 M/W; O55M/O60M & O55W to O70W; plus SoM teams Cape Town, South Africa : host for Masters O35/040 M/W; O65M to O80M plus SoM teams Venues and dates to be confirmed, but events will be in the last quarter of 2024 Canada will be sending both women's and men's teams. 2023 WMH Pan Am Continental Cup Canada will be sending teams to the Pan Am Cup in Argentina : 6 December 2023 - 17 December 2023. Unfortunately, Canada did not participate See this event page World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup 2022 Cancelled- Announcement from WMH on Jan. 10: "The WMH, in conjunction with the Host Nation Organising Committee from USA Field Hockey, has unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel the WMH Indoor World Cup scheduled for February 2022 in Virginia Beach, USA. This decision is due to the current global health situation (Covid-19) including the uncertainties relating to the highly transmissible Omicron variant. The WMH, following FIH’s recent decision to cancel the FIH Indoor World Cup in Belgium 2022, confirmed that it was also not possible to hold the Masters Indoor World Cup in a safe and feasible way, noting further team withdrawals after recent consultation with participating Member Associations. This decision was not taken lightly as it would have been World Masters Hockey first global event. However, the safety of all participants must be a primary consideration and this could not be guaranteed given the current global health situation." Indoor Camp payment by 5pm MST - Thursday Sept 2nd Seeking Ontario Women's Masters: The inaugural international men's masters indoor hockey festival held in Toronto in 2020 was a success. Upon popular request, the next tournament is planned for late January/early February 2022 in Ontario, and a women's division might be added depending on the numbers. This tournament serves both the purposes of practice for the national teams, and an opportunity for Ontario masters, who are not going to the Masters World Cup, to get together and have some fun and good competition. We are also seeking Ontario female masters to participate in the new women's division. Please indicate your interest by filling in this Expression of Interest form, and we will contact you. You don't have to be on the national team to participate. You will be included in Ontario teams competing against one another/ against the Canadian national masters team(s)/ against international masters team(s). The first event will be the WMH Indoor Hockey World Cup to be played in the USA in February. These will be the inaugural events for WMH and we would like to thank everyone for their support, and patience, over the past few years, it has been, and continues to be a tough time for many, but that support has allowed us to get to this point of hopefully playing again at this level. September. 27 will feature the finals and the Closing Ceremony. The venue will be the WC Eagles FHC, Training Facility in Pottstown, Philadelphia. Competitions will be provided in the O40s, O45s, O50s and O55s age groups for both men and women which demonstrates a growth in the size of the tournament from the two previous events organised in Krefeld (2017) and Hong Kong (2019). More information will be available in the near future or you can contact WMH via secretary@worldmastershockey.org  Masters Field Hockey Festival in Ontario August 2020 - We are planning to hold another outdoor field hockey event for male and female O35 players this summer after oursuccessful launch last year. The tentative date is August 16, 2020 and will be a one day event in the Greater Toronto Area, probably at Cassie Campbell in Brampton again. More details to come. Click to see in detail  International Masters Indoor Tournament- Feb 2020 - Toronto, Ontario - Field Hockey Canada hosted the Masters Over40 Men's Tournament Indoor Field Hockey Festival at the University of Toronto on Feb 21, 22, 23, 2020 with teams from Canada, USA, UK,and Guyana participating. This is the first international masters indoor tournament held in Ontario, and is launched by Field Hockey Canada Indoor Director Louis Mendonca together with Joseph Fernando. Only men's teams are participating this year with just one age division : O40. We are hoping to add the women's side next time. The US women's masters are interested in our next tournament. Master ladies' teams from other countries interested please contact Ilenna Tai at info@mastersofourdestiny.com so that we can co-ordinate and plan for the next tournament.
